Courtney joined the firm in February of 2019 and focuses her practice on Personal Injury, Employment Discrimination, Consumer Fraud, Estate Planning (e.g., Wills & Trusts), Estate Administrations, Disability Law, Elder Law and Guardianships.
Courtney graduated from New York Law School in 2016 as one of only one hundred Pro Bono Scholars in the State of New York, a program wherein law students are permitted to sit for the bar exam prior to graduation in exchange for a full time work addressing access to justice issues.
Prior to joining Montgomery Fetten, Courtney worked for several years as an associate attorney for local estate planning and general litigation firms servicing clients in both New Jersey and New York.
As of the Summer of 2021, Courtney volunteers with the South Jersey Legal Services, Inc., specifically to assist indigent parents seeking guardianship of their disabled child.
Before becoming an attorney, Courtney worked as a job developer for persons with disabilities. She also worked at a Job Corps Center assisting underprivileged students ages 16 to 24.
During law school, Courtney was the student coordinator for the Court Room Advocates Project, an organization that matches law students with domestic violence survivors seeking an Order of Protection. Courtney also interned for several New York City non-profits, including MFY Legal Services, Inc. Disability and Aging Rights Project, as well as the AHRC Guardianship and Legal Services Department.
Courtney resides in Northern New Jersey with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and playing flute.
